Beh quest'anno due di queste sono di Mel!!&lt;br&gt;A solo un mese di distanza due bici rubate, sotto casa, in due quartieri diversi (nel frattempo abbiamo traslocato!).&lt;br&gt;La polizia ozia, tra un koppie koffee ed una multa ai rigazzini senza luci nella bici (magari rubata).&lt;br&gt;La risposta più frequente quando denunci un furto: ad Amsterdam ci sono tante bici...è impossibile fare niente!!&lt;br&gt;E comunque non prendono più neanche la denuncia. &lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;font face="Palatino Linotype" size=3&gt;Il Sig Den Bosh (il muratore che doveva farmi i lavori in casa) si è rivelato un bel tipo!!!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;font face="Palatino Linotype" size=3&gt;La sua parentesi spagnola deve averlo un pò impigrito perchè da allora, nonostante tutte le promesse,&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;font face="Palatino Linotype" size=3&gt;ha fatto davvero ben poco. Tra l'altro non essendo completamente convinto della qualità dei lavori elettrici&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;font face="Palatino Linotype" size=3&gt;che aveva fatto fare, ho chiesto una seconda opinione che ha confermato pienamente i miei dubbi. Il risultato è che sono ormai &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;font face="Palatino Linotype" size=3&gt;dell'idea di affidare il completamento a qualcun'altro. La perdita economica è minima, e comunque molto inferiore a&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Alla fine tutti erano al corrente (gli altri regali erano bumpers, bandierine, mappe anutiche e quant'altro per la navigazione fluviale!!) tranne me!! Davvero una bella sorpresa!!! &lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt;Sebbene abbia cercato di limitare i danni con iniezioni di contanti al muratore, questi ha giustamente bloccato i lavori per una settimana, quando il grosso non è arrivato (nonostante tutte le rassicurazione di quel famoso impiegato di banca!!). Alla fine mancava non so che documento...2 minuti per bloccare il pagamento, 2 settimane per farci sapere il motivo, 30 secondi per faxare il documento mancante...un'altra settimana per effetturare il pagamento!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font size=2&gt;Beh adesso che il pagamento è arrivato...il muratore è in vacanza! Che bello chiamarlo, e sentirmi dire che i soldi sono arrivati ma che lui è in Spagna in vacanza...coi soldi miei nel portafoglio!! Inutile dirgli che noi siamo di fretta e che il trasloco era previsto per la settimana prossima...lui è in vacanza...la risposta: che ci posso fare!!!?&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Comunque martedi dovrebbe ricominciare e spero finire in una settimana.&lt;br&gt;Il dramma è la cucina...ho da intonacare una parete intera e poi ...le mattonelle!! Harry non solo mi ha trovato un mutuo adeguato alle mie esigenze, ma mi ha spiegato per filo e per segno tutte le tipologie di mutuo esistenti in Olanda e le differenze tra le varie banche. Una volta identificato il prodotto giusto (The prime beef..come lo chiama lui!) siamo andati a spiegare in un misto di inglese, italiano ed olandese ogni particolare.&lt;br&gt;Dopo almeno 5 appuntamenti ormai il suo ufficio mi è molto familiare! &lt;div&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;font face="Palatino Linotype" size=3&gt;In Olanda, la ritenuta fiscale sullo stipendio è normalmente forfettaria in eccesso, nel senso che si paga sempre un pò di più; a fine anno fiscale si compila il corrispettivo del 740 (non obbligatorio) non per dichiarare il reddito (quello lo sanno già) ma per richiedere deduzioni o almeno il ritorno delle extra tasse pagate. In tal maniera ogni anno a giugno il Belastig ti ritorna una cifretta che prima delle vacanze fa sempre comodo!&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;tra Natale e capodanno scorsi il mio simpatico vicino di casa si era fatto una bella piscina in cucina che aveva causato una infiltrazione&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;dal soffitto della mia cucina. La perdita e' continuata per una settimana circa, perche' il sipatico vicino di casa era in vacanza e perche' l'azienda che ci affitta casa era chiusa per ferie. La ditta (De Key) viene a fare un sopralluogo solo il 7 Gennaio e solamente per constatare che c'e' una perdita!! Dopo un mese contattano il vicino di casa (lsolo perche' Mel li ha tempestati di chiamate!!) e verificano che le tubature sono intatte e che e' stata solo un pirlata del vicino.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Ad ogni modo Per 3 mesi non e' stato fatto nulla perche' il muro doveva asciugarsi. Il mese scorso dopo 3 nostre chiamate sono venuti a ri-constatare che c'era stata una perdita. Mi danno un appuntamento (ovviemente in orari di lavoro) che viene annullato da loro il giorno prima. Finalmente vengono a ripitturare casa ieri!.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Il risultato e' un quadro di Miro!!! Non solo hanno pitturato solo la parete danneggiata (per cui si nota evidentemente la differenza con la pareta accanto - solo 2 mq!!) ma non hanno nemmeno rimosso il tavolo (che e' attaccato al muro) o pitturato dietro la porta!!! Per foruna hanno pitturato dietro al frigorifero!!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

And you&lt;br&gt;think great, I'm making friends here, this is really cool. Go, party with&lt;br&gt;the Dutch.&lt;br&gt;And like a good party-goes, you take a shower, put on a bit of cologne and&lt;br&gt;dress up a bit for that you-never-know-who-you-might-meet moment.&lt;br&gt;OK, so the party is called for five in the afternoon on a Saturday, but no&lt;br&gt;problem-o, that must mean dinner, and so you get a nice bottle of wine for&lt;br&gt;your host and head off, fashionably late. Bzzzz.&lt;br&gt;Enter the world of the circle party.&lt;br&gt;Circle parties are a uniquely Dutch version of hell - which level, I'm not&lt;br&gt;sure, but on the enjoyment scale they fit somewhere between doing your taxes&lt;br&gt;and going to the dentist.&lt;br&gt;Imagine if you will, a group of adults sitting in a circle on folding&lt;br&gt;chairs. You will be expected to shake hands and introduce yourself to&lt;br&gt;everyone of them. Who brought their grandmother, you might be thinking, and&lt;br&gt;why is she wishing me congratulations? Did I win something?&lt;br&gt;No, you did not. Take your gezellig seat and sit down for a cup of coffee.&lt;br&gt;Cold coffee. And a piece of could-be-cake, could-be-pie, sure-is-awful.&lt;br&gt;Respond to every cold fluid and sawdust-flavoured morsel with a grin and&lt;br&gt;mmm, lekker! Who brought their kids, and why are they running around? How&lt;br&gt;can there be so much smoke when the party just started? And the heat...&lt;br&gt;Where's the heat coming from? It's November and the bloody door is wide&lt;br&gt;open.&lt;br&gt;For the next two to six hours, everyone will sit in that neat little circle&lt;br&gt;and try to make polite conversation.&lt;br&gt;Do not try to impress them with your Dutch or knowledge of Dutch society,&lt;br&gt;because you will be wrong. Rather, talk about the quaint little things you&lt;br&gt;like here; mention your travels; discuss Seinfeld. Keep it light. Do not&lt;br&gt;mention that people are dressed as if in pre-1989 Poland; do not ask if you&lt;br&gt;were supposed to bring a gag gift costing less than five euros.&lt;br&gt;There is no food. You got your cake, so shut up. Though the clock is moving&lt;br&gt;slowly enough to prematurely age your twin on another planet, though it has&lt;br&gt;struck six, seven, eight o'clock, there is no dinner. Did they say dinner?&lt;br&gt;Maybe you were supposed to eat beforehand.&lt;br&gt;And so it goes. Even Dutch people hate these things, and how could you not?&lt;br&gt;How can you party with your new friends with Tante Helena showing you her&lt;br&gt;surgical scars and little Jaap-Jan sticking the raisins from his cake up&lt;br&gt;your nose.&lt;br&gt;It's not so much a party as an obligation; like flossing.&lt;br&gt;When Dutch people want to be friends with you or to entertain you, they&lt;br&gt;invite you out, or they will explicitly say dinner-party, barbeque...&lt;br&gt;anything but the dreaded birthday party.&lt;br&gt;You cannot be part of Dutch society and avoid the circle party, but I do&lt;br&gt;have some tips:&lt;br&gt;First of all, I limit my Dutch partner to six circle-party-credits per year,&lt;br&gt;each good for four hours of &amp;quot;fun&amp;quot; with the family.&lt;br&gt;An eight hour circle party (like, Christmas) uses up two credits; no more&lt;br&gt;credits, and gosh, we're so booked up!&lt;br&gt;The second tip is to set a time limit, say two hours - if you wait for the&lt;br&gt;party to break up naturally, you could have already developed stage ten lung&lt;br&gt;carcinoma, not to mention malnutrition.&lt;br&gt;Finally, don't worry about being an oddball-buitenlander. Pick up a magazine&lt;br&gt;and read, wander around and snoop, make calls from the other room. Trust me,&lt;br&gt;nobody will notice.&lt;br&gt;But don't forget on your way out to say goodbye to Tante and Oma and cousins&lt;br&gt;Jaap, Jan and Joris - all of them -- again with the handshake (or three-kiss&lt;br&gt;if they try) and the obligatory &amp;quot;wasn't this gezellig&amp;quot;. &lt;div&gt;180 kili di muscoli e pelliccia sono scappati ieri pomeriggio dalla gabbia nello zoo di Rotterdam, e hanno&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;attraversato a quanto pare a nuoto il fossato che la circonda. Straniti gli studiosi, visto che a quanto pare i gorilla non sanno nuotare!!!&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Dopo le ovvie scene di panico e l'evacuazione dello zoo, il gorilla è stato ritrovato nel bar dello zoo mentre sorseggiava un crodino!!&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;Da quando prendo i mezzi pubblici per andare a lavoro, non c'e' stata una volta in cui questi siano arrivati all'orario &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;dovuto. Ogni giorno la metro bisogna aspettarla per almeno un quarto d'ora, anche negli orari di punta.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;A volte mi e' anche capitato di aspettare un'ora per un tram. E non conto le volte in cui la metro si e' fermata e tl'altoparlante dice solo : tutti fuori e aspettate la prossima questa non va' oltre. CHiaramente la successiva arrivara strapiena...&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;La cosa assurda e' che per garantire la puntualita' gli autisti non esitano a sbattere la porta in faccia ai passeggeri che ritardano di qualche secondo.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;L'azienda, da quando e' stata privatizzata ha solo ridotto le corse (sopratutto verso le zone piu' povere della citta') eliminato qualche linea di bus e speso milioni di euro in tecnologie anti viaggio gratis (le nuove tessere con chip). Ma finalmente dopo tante lamentele e' arrivata la rispota. Un milione di euro di multa...per essere constantemente in ritardo. &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Magari si puo' fare anche in Italia!!!&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;Un'anomalo innalzamento della temperatura (27 gradi!!!), un cielo limpido e una splendida brezza hanno caratterizzato il &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;week end pasquale e sembrano non tradire neanche adesso.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Gli alberi si ricoprono lentamente di fogliame, le ragazze si scoprono un pò di più, e i parchi e le terrazze dei bar si riempiono.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;NON POTEVO TROVARE PERIODO MIGLIORE PER METTERMI A STUDIARE!!!!&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Per fortuna il prossimo fine settimana andrò a Siena. Con la scusa di andare a prendere la pergamena della laurea ne approfitto per&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;una gitarella a base di relax e di una visita a Gae.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Anche Rob. mi raggiungerà da Roma. Una piccola rimpatriata.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Onestamente ho proprio bisogno di una vacanzetta. Il lavoro ultimamente è stato abbastanza impegnativo,e non sembra dover migliorare nelle prossime settimane; e il tempo libero è monopolizzato dai quiz.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Superato lo scoglio mentale (mi mento dicendomi che e' solo un investimento e non sto veramente &amp;quot;comprando casa&amp;quot;!)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;e compresi i meandri dei mutui offerti dalle banche olandesi, ho iniziato da diversi mesi la ricerca della casa ideale: grande, in &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;una bella zona e soprattutto ad un prezzo che posso permettermi.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Alla fine dopi varie riflessioni e vari suggerimenti la decisione e' stata quella di comprare una casa in costruzione, aumentando le possibilita' di un incremento di valore dopo qualche tempo e minimizzando la possibilita' di costi di manutenzione/riparazione aggiuntivi (tetto, fondamenta, tubature) etc etc.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Cosi' via a spulciare tutti i progetti che si svilupperanno nei prossimi mesi ad Amsterdam; via a valutare le zone, le soluzione architettoniche ( a volte un po' curiose!!),&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;via a fare sopralluoghi in zone mai visitate della citta'.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Alla fine con Mel avevamo anche localizzato un paio di progetti davvero interessanti.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Il piu' bello di tutti in Ijburg. Tutti contenti siamo andati a &amp;quot;iscriverci&amp;quot; come interessati all'acquisto.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Dato l'alto numero di aspiranti acquirenti e la limitatissima risorsa che e' il terreno, per le case nuove si procede ad estrazione.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;Finora si parlava solo del lontanissimo 2011!!! Incredibilmente l'Olanda sembra essere l'ultimo paese europeo ad applicare la restrizione.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;Per noi si e' trattato di passare dai 36 gradi e cielo azzurro a cielo grigio e neve!!&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Oggi nevica, gia' da diverse ore. SiI aspettavano fino a 10 cm di neve, ma in realta' finora ne sono arrivate molto meno.&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;Comunque a sufficienza per dara un pretesto ai tremi olandesi di lavorare in forza ridotta: meno treni a causa di una presunta Emergenza neve!!!&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Sono passate gia' diverse settimane dalle elezioni politiche olandesi, ma non e' ancora ben chiaro quale tipo di coalizione costituira' il nuovo governo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Il totale dei 150 seggi che compongono la Twede Kamer sono risultati cosi' suddivisi dalle elezioni:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt; &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Cristiano Democratici (CDA - il partito dell'attuale premier Balkenende)  41 seggi - perdono 3 seggi.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Partito Socialista (SP) 25 seggi - aumento di ben 16 seggi&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Partito laburista (PvdA - socialdemocratici) 33 seggi  - perdono 9 seggi&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;People's party for Fredom and Democracy (VVD - liberali) 22 seggi - perdono 6 seggi&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Partito delle liberta' (PVV) of former VVD MP Geert Wilders  9 seggi&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Partito degli animali 2 seggi&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt; &lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;La costituzione di un nuovo governo e' ovviamente difficile. Di oggi e' la notizia che l'SP ha abbandonato le trattative con CDA e PvdA per la costituzione di un programma di governo, a causa delle forti differenze di posizione. Dubito che il VVD verra' chiamato in causa. Si parla del CU.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Balkenende ( si quello che assomiglia ad Harry Potter) avra' molto da lavorare per creare una maggioranza ( in confronto Prodi e' in una botte di ferro!!).&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;Comunque vada, non credo che l'Olanda avra' un governo entro l'anno. L'opinione diffusa e' che si ritornera' a votare presto, ma di certo c'e' che l'elettorato olandese ha &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;div&gt;&lt;font face=Arial size=2&gt;&lt;span&gt;messo nell'agenda politica due questioni fondamentali: il welfare e l'immigrazione.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
